OCTOBER 22ND,2024
Arkose catches the eyes and ears of the Six-Time All-Star, Five-Time All-NBA Team and All Defensive Team, & 2016 U.S Olympic Team Gold Medalist, Jimmy Butler. The morning of October 22, Jimmy Butler posted the Acid Jazz Duo's most popular song, 'Pretty Girl', on his Instagram Story. Not only is Butler well known for his basketball skills, but he is also known for his impeccable music tastes. This a huge compliment and honor for the duo in their early career.
“ATL H*E! ATL H*E!”That’s what the crowd chanted as they demanded another song from the Acid Jazz duo. This the first official encore from the band. From the stage antics from Noah Sills to the ripping solos from every member in the band, Arkose was simply undeniable. Arkose was part of a loaded 404 Day lineup: Naomi & the Sundaze, Aaron Rizzo, Jazzy The Rapper and J.Kap. ”We didn’t have a soundcheck. It was beautiful to see how we locked in and went for it. I think that’s what translated to an encore.”, says Noah Sills. ”I can’t believe we got an encore. Truly a special night.”, says Tad Adams. The band brought up Jasmine Janai to perform their latest single, ‘Pretty Girl’ as well. Arkose looks to set up another show in the Summer to carry on the momentum for the rest of the year.
